What we collect, what we don't, and how to reach us about it.

The short version: When you run a free scan, we receive only the URL you submit. We do not save your URL, scan history, or any personal data tied to that scan. If you subscribe to the paid plan, we collect your email so we can send the weekly report and Stripe handles your payment.
What we collect
Free scan
- The URL you submit. We pass it to Google PageSpeed Insights for analysis and return the result to you. We do not log or store the URL or the result on our servers.
Paid subscription
- Email address — required so we can send your weekly Monday report.
- Site URL(s) on your plan — required so we know what to scan each week.
- Payment information — handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Analytics (everyone)
- Standard Google Analytics 4 data — pageviews, country, browser, referrer. No personal identifiers.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't follow up via email unless you subscribed.
- We don't share free-scan URLs with anyone other than Google PageSpeed Insights (which performs the scan).
- We don't run profiling, retargeting, or behavioral advertising.
Third parties we use
- Google PageSpeed Insights (Google LLC) — receives the URL to analyze. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
- Stripe (Stripe, Inc.) — processes subscription payments. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — pageview analytics. You can block GA via your browser settings.
- Netlify (Netlify, Inc.) — hosts this site. Standard server logs apply.
Cookies
Google Analytics 4 sets standard analytics cookies. You can block these via your browser settings without breaking the free scan or the subscription dashboard. We don't set marketing cookies.
Your rights
If you have a paid subscription, you can request export or deletion of any data tied to it at any time. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe (typically a few business days).
Children
P4 SiteCheck is not directed to children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Updates
If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers by email.
